Animation Class Project - commercial promoting environmental awareness
The chosen environmental issue was coral bleaching caused by harmful sunscreens. It depicts a comparison between the two fishmen, JJ with an athletic physique and Bob based on a blobfish. This commercial aims to use a comedic approach, referencing the 'Old Spice | The Man Your Man Could Smell Like' commercial, to convince viewers to use coral-safe sunscreen so they can be like the more confident and attractive fish man.

This was a group project so this page will only highlight my contributions. I collaborated on the script and from there created a storyboard and animated the animatic. The rigging and animation of the two fishmen were split up, with myself working on the blobfish. However, with a larger workload on JJ, I animated the spin tuck as it coincided with one of my main shots, where JJ is wrapped up into a falling droplet that lands on a clamshell, opening up with corals flowering around it.
