Lucy's Sky Dive - Animated Music Video

Animation Class Project

A motion graphics music video of The Beatles "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds", depicts a young down-and-out girl taking the edge off and falling into a psychedelic trip. The visual style takes inspiration from the animated series 'The Midnight Gospel', taking its direction of bizarre colours and imagery to inform the trippy sequence.

This page contains the final deliverable and my main contributions to the project. This includes several coloured style frames to determine the overall look of the animation and the development of the flower scene that I was in charge of. I also storyboarded this project and worked on several other scenes with hand-drawn assets and animations, including background elements and the main character.
